Our Annual Limelight Hydrangea Tradition

Our Annual Limelight Hydrangea Tradition

If you’ve walked past our building at 638‑640 rue Pouliot in Laval in October, you’ve likely noticed the row of Limelight hydrangeas framing the entrance. All summer, their creamy‑lime blooms brighten the façade, and in fall they transform into soft pinks, deep roses, and rich burgundy tones—a beautiful celebration of the season.

Each year around mid‑October, our team continues a tradition residents have come to love. We carefully prune the hydrangeas and gather the most beautiful blooms into generous bundles, which are then personally delivered to every apartment door in both buildings.

Limelight hydrangeas are special because they dry naturally, keeping their color and shape for months. Placed in a vase without water, they become lasting décor through fall, winter, and even spring.

This small gesture reflects what we value most: caring for our property and creating a true sense of community. It’s one of the ways we share the seasons together at 638‑640 rue Pouliot—and why this tradition means so much to us.
