From Garden to Home ๐ธ๐
Every season brings its own beauty to our property, but few moments are as rewarding as watching our hydrangeas reach their peak and then sharing that beauty with the people who call our building home.
On October 3, we carried out our annual hydrangea cutting at the front entrance gardens. After months of careful watering, staking, pruning, and maintenance, the large blooms had transformed into stunning autumn shades of pink, rose, burgundy, and soft green. Their rich colours reflected the arrival of fall and created a beautiful farewell to another growing season.
The hydrangeas have become a special feature of our property. Throughout the summer, they welcome residents and visitors with vibrant colour and help create a warm, inviting entrance. As the flowers mature in autumn, their colours deepen and become even more striking, making October one of the most beautiful times of the year for the garden.
This year, instead of allowing the blooms to fade outdoors, we harvested the flowers and prepared bouquets for residents to enjoy in their homes. A large collection of freshly cut hydrangeas was gathered, filling containers with dozens of beautiful blossoms ready for distribution.
The flower giveaway was our way of extending the beauty of the garden beyond the front entrance. Residents were invited to take hydrangea stems home to display in vases, decorate their living spaces, or dry them as long-lasting keepsakes. It was a simple gesture that allowed everyone to enjoy a small piece of the garden they had admired throughout the season.
Behind every bloom is months of care and planning. From supporting the plants with stakes during the summer, to maintaining healthy soil and monitoring growth, the hydrangeas represent a shared commitment to creating a beautiful and welcoming place to live. Seeing the flowers brighten residents’ homes made all that effort worthwhile.
As we prepare the gardens for winter, we would like to thank all residents for helping us maintain a peaceful and attractive community. Moments like these remind us that a building is more than just a place to live. It is a place where small acts of care can bring neighbours together and create lasting memories.
We hope everyone enjoyed their hydrangea bouquets and we look forward to another colourful growing season next year.
Month of October marked the end of one beautiful hydrangea season and the beginning of many beautiful arrangements in our residents’ homes. ๐ธ๐
