A Small Act of Respect, a Meaningful Return

A few years ago, we had a brief and respectful exchange with a tenant from a neighbouring building who operates a trucking and moving business, after noticing one of his trucks extended slightly onto our land. The conversation was cordial, and we had no further contact after that initial greeting.

Recently, we needed urgent help moving four appliances within our building. Remembering his business, we reached out for the first time since that original conversation. He immediately agreed, arrived within the hour with his team, and completed the work efficiently.

He initially offered his help free of charge as a gesture of appreciation, but we insisted on compensating him fairly for his work.
